Everyone, meet some of our best camp partners in crime… the brilliant and creative team – Jessica, Perry, and Jared – at Everything Camper! They all attended the same co-ed, 8-week sleepaway camp in upstate New York. Jessica was born and raised in the camp life (her parents own and direct a camp), and Perry and Jared (who are brothers) both started camp when they were in 5th grade and went for 6 and 10 years respectively.
Everything Camper is a camp clothing outfitter and makes the coolest gear in the game. Their online store also sells the best camp accessories. It’s no surprise they are so in touch with what campers today want since camp runs through the veins of this team. Everything they create and do involves huge amounts of camp spirit and love. If you need anything for your child next summer – from trunks and storage to blankets and pillows – they’ve got it. Read on to hear about the special camp bond these three have with each other, and how everything camp in their lives turned into Everything Camper. This campy crew is truly living 10 for 2.
What are you currently doing?
After working for some time in the camping world, we thought there should be better options for camp clothing. We wanted to make clothing that the kids wanted to wear. So, we approached the owner of the camp we grew up going to, and he gave us a one year trial. With tons of hard work, sweat, and a lot of camp love, we put together an amazing collection. That was 6 years ago. We have grown tremendously since then and now are the exclusive outfitters for over 10 camps! Our site is www.everythingcamper.com
How has camp influenced what you do/your career path?
It’s very safe to say that camp has made us all the people we are today and gave us the inspiration to start Everything Camper. Camp equipped us with the creativity, social skills, and leadership it took to start this company. We eat, sleep, and breathe camp everyday and nothing is better than being able to turn your passion into a business.
What are your top three essentials that you packed in your trunk?
Comfy Sweatshirt, Sneakers, Blow Dryer (that’s just for Jessica).
Who was someone at camp that you looked up to?
We always looked up to our counselors, they seemed so cool!
Why do you think it is important to go to camp?
Building relationships and independence. It’s the best thing camp can give a child. There are countless life lessons that camp has taught us that often times we don’t even realize or give credit to.
How has camp affected your adult life? Is there something you learned there that you still do today?
Words of wisdom for current and future campers?
Take advantage of every moment at camp. Soon in the not-so-distant future, instead of being at camp you will be sitting in an office during the summer, wishing you were having a good time with your friends.
What is your favorite camp tradition?
The major tournaments we hosted at camp, and singing the Alma Mater!
What was your favorite camp food?
BBQ or Saturday Night Skirt Steak.

Favorite camp memento?
JESSICA & JARED: Our officer shirts… we were Color War Generals against each other! If you want to know who won, it was Jessica but Jared thinks it was rigged because Jessica’s parents own the camp. We are over it now (sort of).
PERRY: Camper of the year trophy he won when he was 10.
What were the biggest trends/must have items when you went to camp or representative of the time you went to camp?
Crazy Creek! Razor Scooters!
