I am sitting here today and can’t believe how much I miss you. It hurts a little bit. Maybe because in one year at camp you grew up so fast – or because I know you will be so much more grown up when you get back in August….
I’ve been following lots of different stores and websites that sell camp items in the hopes of finding some great visiting day swag for my son. Here’s the problem…1) He’s a boy and doesn’t care about all the (awesome) camp jewelry etc (but would it be weird if I bought it for myself?!) 2) He’s not a candy kid…
Well, it’s only been 3 days since I put my son on the bus for his first summer at camp but it feels like an eternity! I kept reminding myself that it’s healthy for our kids to be anxious and nervous sometimes and to be pushed out of their comfort zone, from this they learn.
