Camp Moves Us!

It’s October, fall is here, and we are excited to introduce our camp loving community to an exciting new movement. Literally. Camp is all about getting active! So we are here to join in the fun and participate in the American Camp Association’s first annual national fundraising effort, Camp Moves Me. Throughout the month of October, we are going to be getting up, getting out, and getting active to give children across the country the best gift of all — the gift of summer!

Camp POWER Recap

This past week, we got to experience the magic that is Camp POWER in the beautiful Pocono Mountains in Pennsylvania! We came away with the most amazing memories, the most meaningful friendships, and even the coolest dance moves. It’s here… Camp Power!!!

The time has finally come! All summer we have been looking forward to this one week, and we have been working hard to make it the best one yet. That’s right, CAMP POWER has begun! During the last week of August, after camp has ended, we will be heading back to camp to join in the magic and fun that is Camp Power. Stay tuned with us to get the latest updates, pictures, and stories that we have from this amazing experience. We will be playing, running, laughing, learning, and teaching all week… and we just can’t wait! We are so excited that we are able to be a part of this amazing journey and give the gift of summer to so many deserving children, and we hope you join us in spreading the camp love!

Summer 365 GIVE SUM Color War Charity Ride for Camp Power!

As all of our campers are gearing up for their Color Wars in the next few weeks, Summer 365 is getting ready for a Color War of our own! On July 24th at 6pm, Summer 365 will be hosting a Color War themed SoulCycle Charity Ride to raise money for our GIVE SUM Scholarship Fund and Camp POWER at the West Village Location!

Camp has always been a huge part of his life, both professionally and personally. Camp Erin & HBO Documentary: One Last Hug

At Summer 365, our Counselors always say, “camp is one of the greatest gifts you can give a child.” This could not be truer for the children and families that get the privilege of being a part of the COPE-Camp Erin family. Camp Erin, established in partnership by the Moyer Foundation and the COPE Foundation, is the nation’s largest network of childhood bereavement camps. Amazingly, it is also FREE for all families. On Monday, April 14th, HBO is featuring an extremely moving documentary that tells the story of Camp Erin, and how it has positively and uniquely influenced these special campers.
