Summer 265 HQ is bundled up today! Even though it’s supposed to be spring, we are enjoying a major snow day here in NYC. And even in this spring storm, we are finding ways to prepare for summer… If you’re stuck indoors today too, plan some activities to keep your campers happy in the bunk:
Cooking Class
The best way to warm up is by getting cozy and putting something in the oven. Make it a fun DIY activity with your kids, and check out some of our favorite summer (s’mores) recipes here.
Get Outdoors
We can still have fun in the cold! Get your gear and get outside. We always encourage our campers to enjoy the seasons… winter included. Snow tubing is just like tubing on the lake, right!?
Summer Reading
Get your kids in the spirit of summer reading… just a little early :) Snuggle up, unplug from your technology, and get reading!
Arts & Crafts Electives
Choose a fun indoor activity to do with your bunk! Your kids can come up with so many ideas – from macrame to game night – that the whole family will enjoy.
Movie night
Pick a movie (maybe one with a celeb that went to camp!) and settle in front of the camp fire (place).
