May is definitely the month we are feeling those pre-summer jitters in so many ways. Like you, we are so excited for the upcoming season and can’t wait to see all of your amazing camp and trip experiences. But, we have all been there: the nervousness before sending your child away is completely normal, and we are here to prep you for all the feelings that you and your family will experience.
For counselors and campers alike, camps and teen tours are meant to feel like home away from home. And that home is made special by our summer moms!
Basically the World Cup or the Super Bowl of the camp season, Color War is the cherry on top of the most amazing summer. During Color War, campers compete on different teams in activities all around camp – from basketball and boating to rope burn, trivia contests, and apache relay. Every camp does color war in their own unique way, and we are here to give you the 411 on summer’s most hyped-up event!!!
