We believe that summer is the greatest gift you can give a child. Yes it’s true we might be a little biased but for good reason and it’s a philosophy built into the core of Summer 365.
The benefits of a positive summer experience are endless. We’ve seen what an unforgettable summer can do for a child or teen, how young individuals can blossom and come into their own in only a few short weeks or months. Whether at sleepaway camp or a summer program, children and teens find a supportive community that encourages achievement and builds self-esteem, promotes healthy lifestyles, fitness, and activity, and inspires the confidence and skills to become the adults they can be—the next generation of doers and leaders.
And at Summer 365, we believe that every child deserves the gift of summer. For this reason, we created GIVE SUM—a special scholarship fund for families who would otherwise not be able to afford to send their children to camp. For every child that we help place in one of our recommended camps or programs, in turn we donate a portion of each commission we receive into GIVE SUM to help bring more sunshine, smiles, and summer fun to kids everywhere.
In addition to donating money, our Summer 365 counselors also donate their time—making sure as many kids as possible get to experience the magic of summer. Summer 365 is a proud supporter and volunteer to Country Roads Foundation and Camp POWER.
