Some of our best memories from summer are of being active – so why does exercising as an adult feel like such a chore? Try bringing the fun back into your routine this week, and see what a difference it makes.

Fellow mom and well+good contributor Elle Macpherson encourages us to take a cue from our kids: do activities that bring you joy. For her, that’s water skiing, hiking, and getting into some fun competition. (Hey, maybe she was a camper too!)

Start an adult color war, go rock climbing, join a team, and just get outside! And don’t forget to share with us…
